FoodHub
At ISITE, I worked with one other front end developer and two PHP developers on FoodHub, a web app which puts farmers in touch with local restaurants to enhance the regional food community. FoodHub was particularly rewarding due to the scale of the project, and the number of people involved from within the agency, client-side, and the user-base in the greater community.

Design Principles
I’ve been working professionally as a front-end web developer since 2008 and self-publishing on the web for about 10 years before that. Responsive design using a content-first approach (also understood as mobile-first), super-semantic markup, progressive enhancement, and lean, modular CSS are de rigueur in my practice.
My favorite aspect of front-end web development is that it is the intersection of the technical and the aesthetic, and is truly the crux upon which a beautiful user experience depends. My emerging interests include object-oriented programming, responsive workflows and improving my hand and eye at visual design.
